FAQ
Why is Dru different to other yoga ?
Many people come to Dru Yoga classes as they enjoy the graceful, flowing sequences of this accessible type of yoga.
What do I need to bring to a class ?
It is always recommended to have water available at any class. If you have your own yoga mat, please bring it along, though I can provide mats for those visiting the island.
What do I need to wear ?
As long as you are comfortable and can move freely you can wear what you wish.
You won’t be needing your tiara for these classes!
How do on-line classes work?
For online classes, you will need to download the application Zoom. When you book a class, I will provide you with a ‘meeting id’ which you will use in Zoom to access my online classes. Feel free to contact me for any concerns.
Do I need experience to practice Dru ?
Short answer, No. No experience is neccessary in any type of yoga.
Do I need to be flexible ?
Another short answer, No. The reason we practice yoga is to become flexible, so you certainly don’t need to be to begin with.
Do I need to invest in any equipment ?
If you are coming to classes, then I provide all you need. If you are practicing from home, then you might need a block but a large book will do. Cushions and blankets are usually needed.
If you intend to keep up the practice, it would be good to invest in a yoga mat. These are generally not too expensive.
